BOUTIQUE HOTEL FACILITIES
- The seven large superior rooms are the size of junior suites, all with private sitting areas. The one standard room is normal in size by European standards.
- Beds are all extremely comfortable and extra length in size.
- The bathrooms are well designed and extra-wide baths accommodate the power shower easily.
- No separate toilets.
- The very private rooms have outside terraces that provide glittering city and harbour views.
- Outside dining is recommended.
- The cosy fireplace in the dining room is a winter essential.
- The bar is effortlessly cool, relaxing and very inviting.

- The parking area is small so getting in and out can be difficult.

THIS BOUTIQUE HOTEL SERVICE
Service is outstanding. Staff are attentive and always around without being intrusive, a rare find in a small boutique hotels. All day breakfast and hot drinks means lying in a bit longer.
DINING AND BAR
Kensington Place offers snacks and drinks that leave little reason to jump ship for anything but a restaurant visit.
Breakfast is a delightful affair with everything produced fresh, no buffet here. As a visitor coyly remarked, their eggs Benedict should have its own fan page.
For dinner, visitors would do well to lend their ears to the managing staff’s expert breakdown of local restaurants within walking distance. All restaurant bookings are done in advance to ensure a table at the best spots in town.
If you are in for a vibey and busy bar, this is not the place to stay. The bar is very laidback.
